    No idea, but I can recognise the Rhine border with the cathedral of Strasbourg on the french side.

        Yes. Issued by one of the company's involved in the construction.

          So am I correct in saying it is a medal issued for participation in the construction of the Siegfried Line in 1938 specifically for the Limes project.
