1975 article on KM badge reproductions

    Hi folks,
I have been going through some old stuff today and found some articles I thought may be of interest to the new collectors out there. Here is an aricle I had since 1975 (I was ten years old). It is from a magazine called World War Enthusiast 1939-1945. It is dated March-April 1975. In it there is an article on fake KM badges. I wanted to share this with some of you, since I think that many thought that reproduction badges in the 70's consisted of lead junk. This article shows how good some of the fakes were then-29 years ago. BTW, I used to take this magazine to gun shows, it was really the only thing you had that showed fakes.

You made need a good pair of eye-glasses. It looks like I posted it in the wrong forum-sorry.
    Regards,
    Jody

I would assume that that item on Page two that refers to the "JFS" (Josef Feix & Sohn) maker mark on the reverse of Destroyer Badges as being Reproductions is wrong? Or are they referring to something else?

I have one the same as illustrated here:
