Prague Castle Bar Opinions

Hi,

Someone is offering me a commemorative medal 1 October 1938 with the Prague Castle Bar. I do not have the medal in my hand just these photos and none showing the back of the bar. Is this an original Prague Castle Bar?

IMO this pattern is one I would consider original. Back side should have thin prongs if I'm not mistaken.

Better photos front and back will help to make decision about originality. Too many good fakes on the market today.......

Hi,

I now have the medal in hands and took better photos of the Prague Castle bar, again is it a W.W.2 original? I would of like to take a photo of the back but I am afraid of breaking the pins.

As I stated at the beginning this pattern with thin prongs is IMO an original wartime piece.
Now I consider original only few patterns, but we should make some better studies. If for the 1 Oktober medals there was 15 or more makers, if for the Memel there was 11 makers (31.322 awarded), how many makers will we find for the Prague spange (134.563 awarded)?
