Ron,
You didn't ask for opinions or comments...but I'm assuming you want something... here's my opinion (for what it's worth....)

Overall I "like" the Customs eagle ribbon "itself" and the rest of the bar is obviously "fine".....I do question if the Customs ribbon has been added to this particular bar....even more so with the obvious differance in "fading" to the ribbons....and fresh scratch marks on the fold tabs (?)....maybe the combination is "possible" but unlikely IMO, (with two Wehr. L.S. and a Customs L.S) and the Customs should be before the Sudetenland I believe)....... did this come in a "vet. lot" (unlikely I bet)...my guess is it's been played with. That said...I'd "buy it" for "the right price"... Embroidered Custom ribbons (even faded) are had to find.... (I'd display it "by itself")...and fix the Wehr. bar.

I have no issue with this ribbon bar and it's certainly a plausible combination. Personally I have seen a few examples of Wehrmacht long service and Customs decoration.

All those ribbons have been there for a long time- Note the rust staining on all the ribbons (on the reverse). These nickel plated backing plates tend to scratch easy enough from whatever over the past 60+ years...scratches does not always mean it has been messed with, as easy as that can be unfortunately.

The ribbon may have faded more so as it could have been made using a different(?) dye from the others.

Some nice ribbon bars! I have one myself (with an "edited" NSDAP device fashioned into a Customs device), with all the long service medals together as it should be, but the customs decoration being out of place would not be an issue for me if the rest of the bar looked legit.

Hi Josh,

I don't think there was any reason for the variant of devices/embroideries. All devices differ in some shape or form...just look at the EK2 Spange for ribbon bars or Luftwaffe eagles devices for example!

Indeed, this one is 6mm from wing tip to wing tip, and you can still make out his mouth and eye... comparing it to the thread in the background gives some perspective!
