What makes you think this has anything to do with a 'general' maybe a passed over 'Obergefreiter'

It is a postal sealing stamp from a dog and horse unit, why would a general have that??

This stamp was used for safe or strongbox.

It must be interesting for a family of the General I think..

You do sometimes see documents stamped with engraved stamps.

Its just a regular unit stamp for a divisional veterinary company. Nothing what so ever to do with a general or any other individual.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

To answer that the following tale should suffice

"The head of the KGB wanted to test how good his men where are at catching spies. He releases a rabbit into a forest and set his best spy catchers to get it. After about 4 or 5 days, they come out with a badly beaten bear. The bear is yelling: "Okay! Okay! I'm a rabbit! I'm a rabbit!".

Interesting that I have no see anything same. I need someone who understand the stamps. We have similar fact that blazon have used for oficers in stamps or documents.

May be I need to see some generals documents to draw a parallel?

The last general that was in my area(Tcherkassy area) in Kanew on Dnieper river was Generalleutnant Theobald Lieb in 1943. He was a last general of this army.

This stamp belongs at least to the intelligence officer. But I think to General.
That is all what I know.

                      It's not worth that much.
