The Panzer Badge appears to be a ground-dug original attributed to Steinhauer & Lück of Lüdenscheid.

Appears to be an original PAB like Tom said.
You may want to coat it in Vaseline, leave overnight, then wipe and clean off.
Should help in removing the crud and Zinc Pesting while deterring further corrosion.
