Auction Medals

Hello to all,

Just got these three medals from a recent auction. There must have been very little interest and few bidders in the auction as these pieces went for super-bargain prices. The cased Gold Mother Cross sold for $50, the Fire Brigade Decoration sold for $50, and the Gold Wound Badge sold for $125. Even when you factor in the commission and postage, this was a great deal.

This Gold Wound Badge is so bright that it was hard to get some fairly decent pictures.

The badge is an early, unmarked '30' and it has initials 'H H K' scratched into the reverse.

Nice minty pick ups with roll back prices to the 80s/90s.

Very nice items. Auction are a good source sometimes. I myself had obtained some items likewise.

The wound badge is awesome. We have the cased gold Mothers cross from my wife's Grandmother. She had 10 kids I believe.
