Japanese decorations are certainly not my strong suit!

        I recognise the following:

Japanese Order of the Rising Sun
Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure

        German Eagle Order
        German Red Cross Decoration
        German Olympic Games Decoration 2.Kl.

        Slovakian War Cross

I think he was also awarded the Hungarian Order of Merit.

Maybe the medal bar could be worked out using this colour photo of his ribbon bar.

Yes, that does look like the Chile Order of Merit on the medal bar.

Of course, my friend! The full photo of von Richthofen...

Speaking of von Richthofen, his uniform is currently displayed at the Gatow Militärhistorisches Museum.

That ribbon bar correspond or not?

I was actually looking at this yesterday. I don't think it is his ribbon bar. Richthofen had the 25 & 12 year long service decorations, so there should be two golden eagle devices on his ribbon bar. Also, I don't have a record of him having the KVK.

I agree with Pierce. I don't think it is his ribbon bar too.

It's hard to tell from the small picture. Maybe West Wall Medal?

Otto DESSLOCH is wearing the Pilot Observer's Badge (without Diamonds), right?
