The last baton awarded was to GFM Walter Model, March 1944.

Neither Paulus, Greim or Schörner got a baton.

Yes, I got the confirmation: Schörner got the Interim (but I haven't seen any photo of him with it.... yet)

                      Baton

I find it hard to get some facts regarding this item:

                      - Walter Model got it the March the first 1944.
                      - Ferdinand Schörner was promoted the 5th of April 1945 (did he get a baton?).
                      - Robert Ritter von Greim was promoted the 25th of April 1945 (did he get a baton?).

Could someone please support this story with some facts?

                      KR,

Model: got the batons. Whether got on the same date when promoted to fieldmarshal or in a separate ceremony, no idea.
                        Gerim: got nothing
                        Schorner: got interim only
