Hey Sepp, first awesome post and pics, I have found them very interesting. Also, I was at the museum at Rastatt last October specifically to see the baton and it was not there. Not sure where it wound up, but I can safely say it was not at Rastatt. Trip was not a total waste I would highly recommend the museum.

Finally some information about GFM Walther von Brauchitsch's baton!

This is a photo of his marschallstab, taken in 1954. It was in the possession of King Farouk I of Egypt and was later auctioned.

These two photos come from the book "Mythos Rommel" in the time the batons were on the hands of his son Manfred.

Nowadays (as said earlier on the thread) resides on a Stuttgart Museum.

A found this photo to be very interesting: a soldier from the SS-Leibstandarte holds an interim baton, in 1942.

It would be nice to know the original owner...
