We've been seeing these pop up at the rate of roughly one per week since Christmas. Personally, I believe that it is a reproduction, but if you read this thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=638219 you will see other views.

The medal is a clear cast fake, and not made from Souval.
In the thread posted from JC the medal is different from this one, so you can't compare them (I suspect the first is a fake made on the design of the second).

The copies of the 1st 3 grades of SS-DA which have been attributed to Souval are probably some of the ugliest and least accurate copies available.
