Hello Jon,

Sorry, but I do not have any of these in my collection. Came close a few times, but as of yet, have never owned one. Will definitely get one some day, hopefully on a medal bar. I have never seen an example of this medal with the integral suspension eyelet. All the originals I have seen have had the suspension eyelet as a separate attachment. Of course, similar medals such as the NSDAP 10 Year Service Cross were produced with an integral eyelet, so the Customs Service Cross may have been made this way as well. Is yours made of zinc? It looks very gray in the photos.

it's almost black, and not too heavy...?
I dug up this pic from (I think) JamieCross. It's all I have to go on so far. It has the seperate ring as you explained.
I think I'll just bump this up every few weeks, and see if another surfaces...
