Medal Bar 4 yr, 12 yr and Anchluss rebuild w/ great story..

Hello all,

At SOS Tom Yanacek and I were looking around at items. We came across a ribbonless Anchluss medal. The guy wanted $25.00 for it. It didn't seem like a bad deal but I typically don't buy medals without ribbon. I told the vendor I would think about it.

Then just about 10 meters away we are at another table we and we spot a nice medal bar (Below). Upon further inspection Tom noticed that it wasn't an Anchluss medal at all. It was a Sudetenland Medal someone switched.

It seemed like destiny.. I bought the Medal Bar and then went back to the other table and picked up the Anchluss and made the switch. Very cool... If anyone wants a ribbonless Sudetenland or has a ribbon for one let me know...

Well Done mate,Nice story and a nice bar What a bonus that the Wehrmacht Service awards are in good shape also! Josh is spot on too it was lucky that it was that type of backplate set up and just a matter of slipping them on and off!!

The Anschluss medal looks to be in the same condition as the LS medals so it fits in nicely.

And the 2 LS medals looks to be from the same maker, thats is also a nice feature for a bar.
