    hi All, is there a collector who can identify the medals on the medalbar from this SA man, and what wound badge is he wearing ?
    would appreciate it.

      great pic!

      military merit order 4th class from bavaria
      iron cross iind class 1914
      honor legion medal (inoficiall) with sword device for 2 years in front line
      and a guess about the last one - tirol medal for comemorating the 1st ww

      iron cross 1st class 1914
      and 1914 black wounded badge for the army

      hope it helps a bit christian

          Isn't it uncommon to have the miltary merit order mounted before the iron cross or is this because he is from Bavaria? Nice picture btw.

              This was quite common before '35, as in this example of mine which has since found a new home.

                to put the awards from your own king infront of the iron cross was very common in bavaria and saxonia - and sometimes seen on bars from württemberg
