The first - a post-war production L/58. But what do you think about the second? Wartime production? Or maybe fake?

The medal I think is a good one.

The wreath is another matter.

Some like the open wreath. Some don't.

Myself I do not like the open wreath.

I currently have 3 in my collection which I think are post war produced.

Could you post photo's of the inner arms of the cross and the edges of the cross please.

I just have these pictures from the auction site. I asked the the seller about more photo. I will try to show them as soon as possible.

There are a couple of threads on here that indicate that any authenticated medal bars with a 40yr Long Service has never been found with the open type wreath.

I agree with Wayne about all, the medal looks a good one, but the wreath is doubtful.

If the medal is cheap enough I would buy it even though the wreath is iffy.
