Hi. Interested to know about this group. A medic in Africa?

Interesting how the Afrika medal was mounted. I think that was always problematic at that time for the tailors making a medal bar with this medal.

If it was a medic I think there would also be a prussian red cross.

However...I am not a medel bar guy but I wonder if its even a good one...
The afrika and KVK ribbons looks modern. And the war aid cross has a strange jump ring.

Looks like a modern assembled bar to me.....many of the assembly details don't look "kosher" IMO.....front and back! I'd pass.

IMO, not an original assembly of the TR Period.

I don't like the bar, but what first let me very suspicious was the italo-german medal, IMO a fake made in modern white metal and based on first pattern made dis struck in Italy from the firm Lorioli.
I'd like to see some more close up if possible...

I agree. The Italian/German Campaign in Afrika Medal looks to have very weak detail, especially on the gladiator/crocodile side.

Hi Terry,Just my 2 cents here as the Men who have commented above are far more expert than i am thats for sure but they say a collector who has been looking at,Reading up on AND handling many TR/Impy items over the years "Just knows" when something isnt right?
I looked at the bar pics the day they were first posted and straight away i thought i wouldnt want it for my collection BUT Didnt want to say untill Tom/Pierce and the other Bar specialists had.The ribbons look modern,The Africa medal does not convince me and the felt that covers the backing plate looks like it was attached yesterday...
Mate listen to these guys and save your money for a TR assembled bar you can be proud of
