My initial thought was West Wall Medal with mini device but the device in the photo is more circular......

Hi Pierce, I agree. My first thought was also West Wall ... but I don't think that is right. Also, I guess the background of the ribbon would be lighter in the photo if it were the West Wall medal? However, I just cannot think of what else it might be?

I was thinking that too but that's not the correct ribbon for that medal. The ribbon in the photo has dark edges unless that is a shadow?

Looks like it could be a shadow.

It is difficult to tell, but I would be more inclined to think that the dark edges are indeed shadows and that this is a Social Welfare Medal ribbon. Thanks for your help guys ... Cheers, Torsten.
