1) what is the value for this piece and does this look like the real deal

Looks like a nice original to me. Value with original ribbon would be between €300 and €350. Except when you buy from Luc than you get it for €175 an he troughs in a 10 year for free

Indeed, but you have to be very lucky then ! Just at the same time I've bought from Luc 25 and 40 years service awards for only 80 euro! 250-300 would be a good price.

Hello Peter,
Very nice medal! Yes, these 15 Year Service Crosses are somewhat scarce. The 25 Year Service Cross is very rare, and very expensive too. The 10 Year Service Cross is fairly common. Here is a 15 Year Service Cross that I have owned for a long time. I also have another 15 Year Cross on a parade mount with the Hindenburg Cross and the 10 Year Service Cross.
