Medalbar with 25 years service medal - finaly

Italian Croce al Merito di Guerra (War Merit Cross) Awarded to members of the armed forces for war merit in operations on land, sea or in the air, after minimum one year of service in the trenches or elsewhere, in contact with an enemy.

Nice bar. A bit unusual with the 12 yr LS medal with the 25 yr LS cross. I'd have expected an 18 yr LS cross with the 25 cross.

Yes the 25yr cross should always be mounted with 12yr medal.

This would be totally against regulations. The following combinations are possible:

4 + 12 years medals (in this case SILVER + GOLD)
4 years medal + 18 years cross (SILVER + SILVER)
12 years medal + 25 years cross (GOLD + GOLD)

Yes the combo of 25yr and 18yr together was against the regulations but it did happen.

Yes i got it. It is realy something. But maybe there is still space for upgrade and another one will take its place. I'm more into high bavarian combination, then LC. But untill then i will enjoy this one.
