War Commemorative Medal 1939/1940

Hello everyone,

I would like to hear your opinion on this rare Kriegsdenkmünze 1939/1940. As far as I know they were not officially instituted and also never awarded. Just a few were made as prototypes.

The medal is the black version made of iron. I believe a bonze version also does exist. Diameter is 32.5mm.

Just received a link from an auction on militaria321. The Kriegsdenkmünze in this auction has the same ribbon. The seller guarantees originality and is asking 2000€.

The seller is nordwind. I would´t buy water from him if I was on fire.
