    Six possibly nice items

I was just offered these items today. The owner said he bought them about a month ago from a long time collector at prices that seem too good to be true. Any info would be appreciated.

observer & spanish cross are marked CE Juncker
    That observer eagle looks skinny!
    EK L/16
I've never seen a condor tank badge before.
I never seen a cloth German cross with embroidered wreath and date before.
The furniture on 3 of the 4 badges look good to me.
Do these items look good or bad?

    Hello,

I wouldn't want any of them in my collection. In my opinion, all of them are really bad.

    Best regards,

          that's why

Remember the old adage every time, if the prices are to good to be true,
they probably are. I don't like to criticize too often but you have to admit
the çloth G cross is pretty well, pretty well ugly.

          Peto at point

PS the eagle looks like a pregnant pidgeon, and from the back the WWI iron cross looks like stainless steel.

The eagle on the cloth airgunner looks like a robin.

AGREED, all looks like crap. Although that Observer looks very well made and a pretty scary fake, I am sure it has burned some collectors in the past.

                  Hi Guys,

It's interesting that including the U-Boat badge there are three fake Juncker products in the collection - a bit of a theme.

I wonder who or which country of origin is behind these products. The first fake U-Boat I had posted, which was the same type as the one from this "collection", had been posted on a Russian forum so that's two postings on opposite sides of the world.

Tom (D.), you mentioned that the Observer is a pretty scary fake (and so was the obverse of the "Juncker" U-Boat). Have there been more postings of that kind of Observer badge fake on the forum as well, and if so where did they turn up?

                  Best regards,
                  ---Norm

                    Hi Norm,

The observer looks to be the same as this fake posted by Eddie not too long ago, maybe in June 2012? The obverse is VERY well done and quite convincing. The reverse is actually pretty good too, but studying it for a few minutes and you can start to see some differences to originals. I will look for the original discussion thread and post it here if I can find it, but here is Eddie's badge.
