I posted this in another thread w/some other medals, but I wasn't getting any responses so I decided to give it it's own thread.

1938 dated Luftschutz medal.

What do you guy think, is this a good one or not?

Hello chris, looks good to me. I think it is zinc and most of them had no mm on the suspension ring. here are some pictures of mine.

What about value, what are these going for these days anyway?

The zinc ones about 60 euro's in a box 110 euro and with paper package 75 euro

the alu ones are 10% up.

looks just fine to me also. is the ribbon faded or just the light when pic taken ?? not being awakward just seemed a bit faded. i always say dont ask will never find out. interesting that the alli ones are 10% higher and currant prices of this medal which i think is a quite striking medal all round

Hello Chris,

Ribbon appears to be slightly faded, but not quite as faded as it appears in my scan above.
No harm in asking, how else would you ever find out anything if you didn't!

No Giel, no makers mark that I can see.

What percentage would say have a makers mark on them?
