              Dear Gary,

              I'm not convinced by this box, certainly not the base flocking.

              I would if possible like to see the catch fore and aft, the rayon slip over the hinge (inner) and lid inner more closely.

              Boxes of this type, were generated in the late 80's and early 90's.....the most common being the West Wall Medal box, if you see this box you'll see the connection between the base material, a modern brushed fibre.

              If in the event it was 'genuine' it would be a private purchase item whether it be presentation or otherwise.

              I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I would like to view this box some more.

                    Personally, I think the box is modern--I agree, it looks much like the Westwall cases from the 80s-90s--but it makes a nice presentation.
