Can anyone help me ID this Luftwaffe award? Maybe some type of recognition for having a certain amount of flights under his belt? Any help would be very much appreciated!

Like nothing I've seen before..
However, going on the eagle and dagger it has to be early (pre war) so I would say that its an award for one of the many flying competitions that were going on at that time..Pity we can't see the plaque. -
Thanks John for your feedback. That sounds like a possibility. I'll take another look at the image to see if I can make out the writing on the plaque. I was thinking maybe it was some type of unit award given to pilots for completing X amount of missions.
