This bar has eluded me for years! Now my Long Service collection is complete! Both are magnetic. So 4-40 years Done! On to other pieces of history

As to the wreath on the 40yr some people like them some don't

I think that the most accepted version is the closed wreath type.

I thought it was the other way around, both are magnetic: eagles and wreaths. I always liked the Luft as it came off a bar, sadly.

Wayne, this is indeed worth some contemplation. I still haven't seen any medal bar with an open wreath, only single pieces (which by regulations were not allowed to be worn that way).
