I picked this up the other day. I'm not super familiar with them but I wanted to post it for opinions. I'm thinking it's good but I have been wrong before.

I saw that the ribbon looked to be from the silver award of this type. Is that correct?

I noticed something that I think might shed some light on this. I think this piece was once silver plated... is it possible that this is a silver piece has lost it's plating somehow?

looking at the medal now the color was way off in the first pictures... the actual color of the medal in hand is much closer to these pictures.

These pictures are much more accurate color wise... darn those yellow light bulbs.

It doesnt look like a silver grade even if it has lost the blue enamel

in one piece, you can find this type of originals medals on ordenspange! i have one in my collection, the mystere is why rest of silver finish!
