picked this up on a whim (a dangerous thing i know!), and cannot find out what it is in any of my books. thoughts??? is it genuine? thanks! john

Well it looks like you did good when you pick this up John. A very nice example of a Gau Appell Tinnie from a little known maker. By the way if a you have Reinhard Tieste's tinnie catalog it's in there look under Sachsen.

I haven't encountered this one as frequently as some of the other Gau pins.
