I actually picked these up a couple of years ago and after spending allot of time on this site, I'm thinking the one on the left is a fake and the one on the right is original. Would I be correct on this?

Thank you, gentlemen.

I suspected the left one was a fake because I noted in some of the other threads that when the pin on back wasn't horizontal and and the catch appeared to be clipped brass, usually a fake was sniffed out. While I don't believe the catch is hand snipped, it does appear a bit gold-toned under the aging paint, so I wondered if it may had been brass underneath.
