I just noticed it's the 20th of July wich means today, 60 years ago, the bomb attack on Hitler failed. So this should be the exellent day to see all those 20th July woundbadges!

He never wore the Gold 20 july wound badge that was in his possession.

Did anyone know that after the bomb nobody was permitted to wear his arms when meeting the Führer....EXCEPT....Sepp Dietrich. Needless to say how close he was to the Führer.

I do not know if there was a ceremony per se, but I have seen a photo or two of him presenting them to a couple of people in the hospital....
