    Medal bar on estand

I am interested in this medal bar that is on the estand but would like to confirm it to be in original configuration and that it's original TR.

    Here is the site http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=579882.

    Thanks, Rob.

I'm no great expert either but it looks original to me.

Also, I like the lack of scratches on the backplate which shows the medals haven't been tampered with.

          Hi,

The WMC is reversed, but that is seen occasionally on bars.

Thank you for the positive replies. It is something of interest and I will take the plunge.

Is there any reason as to why the WMC is placed backwards on this bar? All the other medals show the swazzy? I too have seen this in the past and have passed on them thinking that they were put together bars. It is one that will boggle my mind.

              Hi,

No known reason as to why WMC is backwards. I have a few bars like that myself. Could be that the assembler did not know the proper way, the recipient wanted to make a statement.....etc.

                ..

Gary is quite right. Here is one I have, purchased 11 years ago at MAX from a German dealer. It is absolutely original.
