Hello,

Not sure what you mean by the above comments. The ribbon for the bronze second class should be plain dark green and it looks like that is what is on there. Is there a brooch pin sewn to the ribbon at the top? A picture of the edge of the ribbon would show us if the ribbon is of the proper weave.

The picture of the reverse looks good. In my opinion, the medal is an original.

Yes the ribbon is dark green, I had looked at another medal and took it for granted that it had the right ribbon. There used to be a broach pin on it. I'll try to get a shot of the ribbon tomorrow.

Great! I think you have a real ribbon on a real medal. The gold second classes had a light green ribbon with two red stripes; the silver second classes had a medium green ribbon with two white stripes; and the bronze second classes had a plain dark green ribbon.
