What do you think about this bar? I am just wondering how "real" this is, since base of bar itself is so shiny new looking....

I believe the reverse is made from nickle plate so it keeps very well over the years.
Unfortunately these tab-back bars are easy for people to mess with. I don't know if this one has or not but that blue ribbon had something pinned to it before.

Looks OK to me, but as Pierce said, these tab backs are easy to make & mess with.

As for the holes on the LS ribbon, my guess would be that they are either for stitching to hold the ribbons in place or the Eagle was originally lower.
