Memel Medal & Packet from the SOS

I picked these up at the SOS and would like some opinions.

It appears to have the infamous 'B' between the figures.

Hard to tell for sure because of the darkness of the area.

Not much on packets but this one strikes me as being bad also.

It's very tricky medal and what I seen around last weeks I would pass it too.The ribbon is probably repro too.Try little burn test on it.
the letters G , M , and 2,9, i think they not correct.

No, that's not true, check it out:

Of course, it's possible there are another types of bags for the Memel, indeed.

Only plain paper packets without designation, only with maker mark are known to me.
The packet posted in this thread (first one) is IMO not original.

Thank you all for taking the time to comment on the medal and packet.

I purchased them from Ron Weinand (Weinand Militaria) and expressed my concerns to him after posting them for review in this thread.

He stands behind the items but promptly refunded my money "to keep the customer happy".

I applaud him for this and would not hesitate to buy from him in the future.

Memel packet

With regards to the packet only- Jamie Cross has a Memel medal and packet up on his site. the medal looks good , the packet has the same markings as yours although falling apart and is disclaimed as original by Jamie and thrown in for free

IMHO the Memel medal on this site is bad also.
