after yesterdays failure odd things happen and got offered a 4 yr ss and 8 yr today by total chance which i would like views on please.

The details on this one are pretty good -- it has the right detail to the acorns (that's usually where fakers skimp). But, the color is all wrong. They are supposed to be painted black. Where is the pink color coming from?

Even when worn down, the underlying medal should have a golden color to it.

The wear on this one looks unnatural -- it looks like it has been given a chemical bath to age it.

Perhaps it is an authentic medal that has been mistreated in some way. But, there are better examples available.

i can confirm painted black. the pink colour is i think because i had to take pics at dusk. under colour is bronze like. does that help
