This medal is also iron (magnetic). It is so shiny that it was hard to get good pictures of it.

The ribbon ring of this medal is marked with a 'K'.

Didn't realize this until I removed the ribbon.

It appears that the logo HKM was used by Heinrich Kissing of Menden.

Kissing was involved in minting emergency coinage for the Province of Westphalia, during the economic chaos of 1923 Weimar. At this particular time, they were using the mint mark of KM.

It appears that Kissing is still in business today. They are still located in Menden and known today as Kissing G.m.b.H.

Here is a 25-Year LS with a type of packet I've never seen before. I wonder what manufacturer made this one?
