2 Piece Medal Bar Opinion

I just got this 2 piece bar.

I am curious if you feel this is a good one?

The EK2 seems good, has an iron core and the Honor Cross is magnetic too.

Also does anyone know who the maker is for G1?

I use this site for Honor Crosses and it does show a G1 but not the maker?

Hi Scott,

Looks really nice. I think the EK2 is by Wagner & Sohn. (I think I see a 'WS' on the suspension ring.) As far as the 'G1" marking goes, I believe that is still a mystery. I'm sure you are aware that there is a series of 'G' markings that can be found on Hindenburg Crosses. My contention is that the 'G' probably stands for either Gesellschaft or Gemeinschaft.

I can see nothing wrong with this medal bar.

The EK2 is on bact-to-front but sometimes these were mounted this way.

Yes I think the series G1-G21 & G31 has not been identified.

Fine looking set...all the wear on the individual pieces match up...nice patina on the EK2 especially.

thank you for your inputs on this medal bar. The more I look at this the more I like it. Yes that is a WS on the ring.

I meant to attach this link to a previous posting. This shows a G1 to a G21 and then a G31... maker unknow... Interesting..
