Ostfront and War Merit Medals

The War Merit Medal looks like a nice original to me.
The Eastern Front Medal looks good too but I am not expert on these.

The Merit Medal looks pretty good as Pierce already noted.

Maybe it is just the lighting, but the East medal looks a little funny. They are known to loose all their finish as most were zinc leaving a grey look to them, so maybe it is perfectly good. Again maybe just the camera flash makes it look a little bright.

If you are not sure, just find another as these are not expensive to buy.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses, I'm boggled by the variation in medals and factories etc, helmets seem so simple in comparison

I'm widening my collecting interests at the moment, currently trying to get medals that match helmets in my collections somewhat. The eastern medal is to accompany a nice snow camo helmet I picked up last year.

I think it's the light. You's have to be very unlucky to pick up a bad one of these.
