I don't think I have ever gotten one of these from a vet ever in the 50 years I have been collecting this stuff. Doug

yeah that actually looks pretty good condition.... Vets usually didn't waste their time with these,,no skulls,,lighjtning bolts,,or even a swastika!

I think a lot of the Ostvolk PW ended up in UK and as a result in the 80s anyway, you would find quite a lot of this stuff.

We then sent the PW back to Stalin where they were subsequently executed as traitors.

The Eastern Volunteers that ended up back in the UK were mostly from the Galacia Division mostly Ukranians...We didn't send these back as Jock suggested but still have them here (not as prisoners)
The ones that we gave back to Stalin were the ones that wern't smuggled out of the war zone but we supplied the train guards from Berlin to Moscow to move the ones back we had taken prisoner...My Dad spent 3 months going backwards and Forwards moving them out in cattle trucks

Hence the reason a lot of this Eastie volunteers stuff is coming to the surface as the old vets pass on...

I'm still waiting for the boxes of anti partisans that must still be sleeping out there
