Reproduction medal in a reproduction case I'd say. The seller also states both are reproduction.

The medal is not the one in the 'expertise'. What's shown in the document is what collectors call the Deschler version.

The way this is posted is not really what I would expect here in the for sale section. Either it is a copy, and you sell it as one, or it is original. Such misleading nonsense should not be listed on the e-stand and leaves a very bad taste:

very geat stuff all dimension and weight correct .
I have a copy of an Niemann Expertise. On this is the Medal original.
My Medal looks like the one on Niemann Expertise!
So I sell it as repro
But I never see such great medal before

      Regards,

      Daniel

This stuff should be listed at the bazaar section.

I agree with everyone.. Thank you George..

IMO, e-stand should be for known or generally agreed upon genuine items. Items up for displute or uncertainty should be at the bazaar....

            Thank you, Scott

              ..

              ...
sorry I dont know that repros must be posted in the Bazaar .

I write that the expertise is a copy and my medal looks like that on the expertise. The weight is the same as on the copy expertise.
Expertise and medal are not from the same medal!!

Thakns for move in the correct section

I would like to have this to go in a display with my SS rifle. We have spoke threw pms but we have a little language problem I think. Why im asking is the price so high for a repo? To me I don't care how nice of a repo it is. Do repos like this sell for this kind of money normally, when it known there fake? Tell me guys what would you pay for this knowing its fake but still wanting it? We will probley be way off on price and wont be able to make a deal from what I have seen anyway. But I would still like your opion on this.

                Thanks guys

I guess the seller can ask as much as he wants for his items & it is up to the buyer whether or not he wants to pay it. It is not for me to judge the morals of this, so, all I can do is inform you of a few facts about the type of reproduction award in question.
This particular type of repro was being sold new, a few years back, by 'E.G. Frames' for £99.00 per set (inc. medal, ribbon & case). The quality of these fakes is actually very high and plenty of dealers still try to sell them as original, but, they really bear very little resemblance to the real thing. They have, however, been discontinued & subsequently replaced with a similar, lower quality version which has obviously been cast from one of these and are now being sold new for £25.00.
N.B. the embroidered ribbons that came with these are very well made and many of them can now be found paired with original awards, although again, the shape of the Runes bears little resemblance to originals.

This guy is asking 700 euros with is alot of money in my book for a fake. I just wanted to know if that was a normal asking price on something like this. He would be lucky to get 50 usd from me for it.

I agree. Unless a reproduction is something really complicated with fake diamonds, sirens, and flashing lights, I don't think that it should cost more than $25.

Thats what I think 25 bucks would be a fair price. This guy wants 6-700 euro thats alot of money to me anyway. If he would sell it for a reasonable price I mite be interested.
