    Wound Badge Rarity?

I've got several Black Wound Badges & was wondering if any are rarer or harder to find than the others.

They're marked on the back in the following places:

    "3" mark on helmet
    "4" mark on helmet
    "16" mark on helmet
    "L/56" above helmet
"EH126" 3 marks- "EH" above helmet, "126" below helmet & very small "EH" bottom left corner of helmet.

    I also have 3 Silver Wound Badges marked "26", "L/16" & "65"

I know who all these makers are, but are any of them more desireable than others?

    Thanks

    Hello Chris,

Nice collection of Black and Silver Wound Badges. Nothing out of the ordinary, and all somewhat common. The EH 126 I consider desireable because of the multiple markings, but they are all nice in their own ways. In my own experience, I have found the ones with 'L/' numbers less frequently encountered.
    Best regards! Tom

      Thanks Tom.

I was considering parting with a few of these, but didn't want to let go anything that would be hard for me to replce in the future.

        Chris,

These makers are common for the WBs, from my point of view if i have to choose the most desireable from the awards you listed i'll choose:

L/56 for hollow issues, reason is little bigger and has a different and unique design from the others.

65 for the solid issues, reason the design and the quite good quality by this maker.
