Issues w/ Afrika Medal

I just recieved this medal in the mail yesterday and it is the first one of these I have ever owned. Sadly once in hand it looks to me to be a cast copy. The ribon which I removed for the photos is for sure a modern copy. I would like some more looks at this medal before I contact the seller. Thank you all in advance.

Low and soft details and the ribbon-holder is very uneven.
I agree with you, it looks like a bad copy.

Looks original to me but would appear to have had a hard life. Looks like someone has buffed it or flatten the high points with something. Based on these photos, I can see no signs of casting. In my opinion it looks over polished, suffered knocks/ denting and has gone dull again but it is real.

There is an easy way to solve this however, please let us know the weight and measurements,

This one doesnt looks cast to me at all. I agree with Don that this appears to be a well worn original.

Well guys......

......If this one is original it is in the poorest condition I have ever seen one in. Clearer, unshadowed images would help. I am 'on the fence' about this one. Measurements would certainly help.
