Sports Badge - DRL for Disabled

Yesterday i´ve got this DRL from a colleague. What are your opinions? Maybe he´ll get more....

Personally looks like a repainted bronze to me. Look at the white finish in the reverse picture. It looks like it's been applied with a brush. Plus the gold finish doesn't look like it should either.

I would say this is NOT the DRL Sports badge for War Wounded....the DRL has a much high quality Gilt/silver wash.....this example the silver looks more like the oxidization shown on the reverse of the entire badge....with the wreath cleaned to a shiney bronze (Real gilt examples also better quality gilding-when new)....

With age the DRL War Wounded can be hard to tell....but this one looks like a cleaned/oxidized bnz. version.
Just my opinion...of course!

I agree that it looks like a painted bronze badge. Even on the DRL letters you can see some of the bronze colour peeking though.

Recently I had someone look at the badge I have and it was questioned. I am not going to take over this thread with mine so I will start another thread.
