Can't say I like it.
I've seen a few in my time and I think this is the first one of this type
that I have seen.
Even for a non magnetic medal you would think that the details would be a lot sharper.

I thought the big eye on the bird might have just been him being startled by the flash. However, it looks like it is still there..

This is the kind of medal you would like to have in your hands to examine.
Personally I don't like it either but I've been wrong many times.
I know I'm going to keep an eye out for more of this type.
As an after thought maybe the medal was put through some kind of cleaning device. Like a buffer of some kind.

Very true Wayne.. there are some scratching on the medal. I will probably just keep it for a little while and see if I can find something out on it.
I know the week after I sell it as a reproduction I will find out it is the, "rare bug eye variant" only belonging to Herman Goering or something.. HAHAHA.
