NSDAP 10 Year Service Medal

I just dug out my 10 year NSDAP service medal... I got a renewed interest in this medal after reading Tom Tyanacek's Parade Medal Bar book... It mentions this comes in a one piece or multi piece variety..

I believe I have the zinc with separate eagle/wreath piece variety...

Hello Scott,

Looks like a nice one! And a real ribbon too! Here is one I bought back in August from ebay, of all places. Used the buy-it-now option before the ebay police could cancel the auction. In trying to keep us "safe" from these pieces of history, ebay has become their own form of Nazi.

Hi Tom!

I agree that you have a beautiful medal and that ebay has become their own form of Nazi's. To be specific they are more like Soviet Commissar's IMO. Ebay allows Soviet medals to be sold freely... One could argue they were more oppressive and responsible for more deaths than the TR. Perhaps Ebay should ban US Military items from the 1890's because it could offend Native Americans... Obviously I jest and I believe the free market should decide what is acceptable but I hope you got my point of agreement.
