It's the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit, grade VI (silver cross) for Sergeants.
A very nice medal bar.

Sorry, but I was wrong in my first posting. It is actually a Bulgarian Order of Military Merit, grade V (cavalier cross) for Lieutenants & Captains. The guy that owned this was a commissioned officer.

The EK 2 is a so-called "Schinkel B" cross.

Bulgarian Military merit order Vth grade, without crown. These crosses all came in two variants, with or without crown; w. crown is higher class of the same grade. Here is my crowned example (but from older period - balkan wars and early WW1). These are very nice awards. Even better on the bar!
