5-Place Ribbon Bar with EK Spange

Another ribbon bar from my collection I would like to share with you.

-Preußen Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse 1914 mit der Wiederholungsspange
-Sachsen-Meiningen Kreuz für Verdienst im Kriege
-Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges für Frontkämpfer
-Treuedienst-Ehrenzeichen für 25 Jahre
-Österreichische Kriegserinnerungsmedaille mit Schwertern

This bar looks well balanced with devices on every ribbon, even though in the case of the Sachsen-Meiningen Kreuz this was not really necessary.

Awesome bar! To me, the backing construction looks similar to some of those conspicuous fakes floating around. Obviously, it's not, and obviously, I still have a long way to go with my learning.

What are the differences between this backing construction and one of those "Ohio fakes"?

The Ohio-fakes uses brass pins/catches.

The Ohio fakes can be spotted by their brass/copper catches, fake devices and over-all poor construction.
