    My new ribbon bars

I bought one of the e-stand recently and then i found his hessian brother at a dealer site and i just had to get that one as well.

Neither rare or special, but i think they make a good looking pair.

Even if they are imperial, thay are obviously Tr made so i placed my thread here in General Wehrmacht Awards.

Hi Peter, Nice bars! You are correct about them being made in the 3rd Reich period 1934 onwards for these chaps! Both in vgc.

These bars look really nice, but I see the Wurttemberger has the catch made from hand snipped piece of wire. This is usually considred a bad sign, although it can be period repair. On the plus side, this bar is not a rare combination and the "southern" ribbon construction is hard to make, and these two facts speak against faking and pro period home repair.

              Thanks for your comment Valter,

As you say, that bar is not rare and i dont think anyone would take the time to fake a common bar like this one.

But i will gladly listen to other opinions if anyone thinks otherwise.

I agree, hardly worth faking. Regardless, the hardware appears original in my opinion. I have seen similar clasps on ribbon and medal bars, usually WW1 or early Third Reich combos.

                Kind regards

Herr Baden has now joined the group.

At the same time I was also able to pick up the same baden ribbon as a single ribbon bar, I have been looking for one of those for 2 years.

Its funny how small and inexpensive things like this can put such a big smile on ones face.
