Rumanian War against Communism ??

Did everybody that received the Eastern Front medal receive the Rumanian War against Communism medal ?? Did they have to apply for the award ?? Thanks Ed

No not everyone received it.

Not sure of the exact criteria for the award, but I believe time in Romania was part of it. Also, I think anyone who spent time fighting partisans in the area got one.

Likewise, would someone who received a kuban and/or krim shield who also received a Rumanian War against Communism (i.e., an s-boat navy soldier), have received an east front medal?
