Found this one at the 2013 SOS - the last ribbon is the Spanish Wound Medal for Foreigners. From what I've read, less than 200 LC members were eligible/awarded this medal.

An excellent addition to your collection and to this thread.

              Well done Scott!

                Hi Scott,

First time I have seen the Spanish Wound Medal for Foreigners ribbon on a ribbon bar! I had only seen it in publications and thought it was "vapor". Great find, now I really wish I had been at the SOS!!

                Best to All!

Scott - a beauty. Thanks for posting this. From friends who attended, I had heard most of the Lufty ribbon bars there were rebuilds using old stock. It's nice to see that you found a diamond in the rough!

very, very impressive your last ribbon bar.

Thanks everyone. The bar was tucked in the back of a dealer's case with only the Spanish ribbons visible (the blue long service ribbon was covered by something). It was one of those big cases with a ton of stuff piled in it. At first it didn't register what I was looking at, but the crossed swords sparked something in my head. It's a bit worn, but the combination of ribbons couldn't be passed up.

I'm still on the hunt for LC bar with a Spanish MMI ribbon... it's out there someplace!

Here are some of mine. My apologies in advance for the photo quality which is not up to snuff, but I cannot take new photos at the moment.

Wow jason, nice trio. The ribbons on the top bar are quite out of order, but period photos show such mix-ups did happen.

Thanks Scott. Yes, that top bar is indeed. Since my primary focus is uniforms and headgear, I seek assistance from those more advanced than I when it comes to ribbon bars, and especially examples like that one which require a more thorough review. There are a few guys here who I am indebted to - and one in particular.

                              You know who you are!

Here is another 6 placer. I think the Hungarian commemorative medal is supposed to be the Slovakian Signum Laudis medal (Bronze).
