your views on this gold rad medal please

i recently aquired a number of german medals from an old veterans estate which recently died ,most of the items were run of the mill iron crosses mothers cross day badges but one item which i do not know much about is this medal which seems to be a gold rad medal with blue ribbon,i have never come across one of these before and wondered if anyone could verify this and tell me a little about if possible.many thanks............p.s. this medal seems to be made from two seperate halfs

Looks OK to me. Anyway to get a shot of the edge where it looks like "2 halfs". Though this could just be a die flaw of some kind.

The Gold RAD medal was for 25 Years Long Service. There is usually a Gold National Eagle on the ribbon.
